Our team is made up of behavioural experts who specialise in 4 key areas:

  1. Behavioural Researchers - Our researchers start by conducting primary research to unearth valuable customer insights.
  2. Behavioural Architects - Our architects use secondary research and models to identify barriers and create a series of creative, strategic interventions.
  3. Behavioural Designers - Next our behavioural designers apply neurodesign principles to refine and execute the interventions in the form of engaging conceptual designs. These are typically created in Sketch or Figma.
  4. Experimental Designers - Finally our experimental designers implement the solutions, test for efficacy and use the results to build a wider picture of the impact of our nudges.

From 3 people back in 2016, our team and revenue have grown exponentially year on year. Now sitting at over 45 full-time employees, we know that we’ll need to continue to grow to meet demand.

From research to ideation, we keep on top of the latest research using an applied knowledge database to apply an academic lens to all of our interventions. 


The world’s first team of Neurodesigners

We are the only behavioural science consultancy with an entire team of Behavioural Designers dedicated to neurodesign. We don’t outsource to designers, because we believe that every intervention should be executed with psychology baked into the design itself by behavioural experts. 


We always aim for p<0.05

Behavioural science is growing and changing. We know so much more than we did 10 years ago and what we’ve experienced is that there is no silver bullet. Single nudges are rarely as effective as 10 and it’s important to measure the impact of our solutions to ensure we’re always driving positive change.

At Cowry, we are all behavioural scientists and we are all consultants. We know we work best when we have blended teams who share responsibility for the development of behaviour change solutions.

Each of our consultants also specialise in one of four key disciplines. Our Behavioural Researchers conduct implicit and explicit research to unearth valuable customer insights. Our Behavioural Architects use secondary research and models to identify barriers and create a series of strategic & innovative interventions. Our Behavioural Designers apply neurodesign principles to refine and execute the interventions in the form of engaging conceptual designs. And our Experimental Designers implement the solutions ethically and responsibly, test for efficacy and use the results to build a wider picture of the impact of our nudges. 

Although we have our own areas of expertise, every member of the team is involved in the creative process and has the opportunity to work across a range of different sectors, projects and touchpoints.
